Register for AQMD mower program now -

City of Lakewood - May 15, 2012
Lakewood residents can register to trade in their polluting, gas-powered lawn mower for a new cordless, rechargeable mower at a significant price break. Once registered, they can RSVP to attend one of several trade-in events to be scheduled this summer. An event at nearby Veterans Stadium is set for June 23.

The mower swapping program is conducted by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD). This is a high-demand program and registration should be done promptly. Click here for the AQMD’s mower program web page and registration.
