CHATSWORTH- Sherman Oaks Sen. Henry Stern and Chatsworth Assemblymember Pilar Schiavo announced today how the money from last year’s settlement, appropriated via a budget bill signed in September, will be allocated: $40 million for building decarbonization prioritizing impacted communities, $14 million for extreme heat resilience for senior centers, $15 million for nature and tree cover in schoolyards, and $2 million for outreach and education around electrification.
