Call for entry to Senator Henry Stern's local Artist Showcase & Capitol Exhibition
State Senator Henry Stern is seeking artist submissions of original works which capture the spirit of California, and in particular Senate District 27, while reflecting on this moment in history.

(Sacramento) – A set of public safety initiatives by State Senator Henry Stern are moving forward in the Legislature after receiving unanimous approval in their first committee hearings today. The bills aim to provide additional assistance to victims of child sexual abuse (Senate Bill 756) and modernize anti-human trafficking efforts (Senate Bill 225).
SACRAMENTO – The Senate Energy, Utilities and Communications Committee today voted in favor of Senate Bill 57 an urgency measure by State Senator Henry Stern to stop the reopening of the Aliso Canyon Gas Storage Facility until state regulators have completed an investigation to determine the root cause of the massive methane leak which took months to plug and displaced more than 8,000 families from their homes.
